From childhood, he was fond of sports. He used to play cricket well. He was all-rounder – a bowler as well as a batsman – and has won many matches for his school. He enjoyed kite flying and was expert in playing chess. He started studying seriously in class 11th where he stood second in his school across all four divisions. He did his first two years of graduation from Ruia college and then last year from Khalsa college, Mumbai. His subjects of liking were logic, modern history, and economics. He completed his graduation from Mumbai University, Maharashtra, India, in 1944 and majored in Economics. He was employed in the State Government of Maharashtra, and he retired as a Deputy Secretary to Government of Maharashtra, Finance Department, in the year 1981.
In spite of being from the earlier generation, he actually fell in love with his father’s friend’s daughter. Sharda’s parents happily agreed for the groom and they got married in 1948. Both enjoyed a happy married life of more than 64 years. He has a son and a daughter who are well-settled. His son Pralhad is a B.Tech. In 1946, two years before his marriage, he started mantra meditation after reading an inspiring book ‘Naamajapache Mahattva’ by Mr. Ramkrishna Kamat. At a very young age of around 25 years, he was initiated into spiritualism by his Guru, Shri Nana Maharaj Srigondekar, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra, India. Shri Wamanrao Pai attained the highest goal of spirituality – self-realization – by his devoted and relentless efforts. He experienced inexplicable bliss within one’s own soul, and this propelled him to spread the spiritual knowledge and bliss to the masses.
He started delivering discourses on spiritualism from the year 1952, at the Spiritual Center and at the Vivekananda Center in Mumbai. Later he focused his attention on morale upliftment of downtrodden and lower-middle-class worker community from Parel, Mumbai. He used to deliver lectures almost on a daily basis except on Sundays which was reserved for his kids and wife. People started benefiting immensely by practicing Jeevanvidya and on popular demand, he started writing books.
He wrote 27 books. These became so popular that few of his books are million+ in prints. ‘Tooch Ahes Tuzya Jeevanacha Shilpakar’ (You are the architect and builder of your own life) is in its 99th edition. In the year 2015 which marks the golden jubilee year of Jeevanvidya Mission, the 100th edition is getting published.
He was working selflessly for uplifting the masses with a sole objective of making people happy. He worked towards this goal for about 60 years – 30 years before his retirement and 30 more years after his retirement. He never charged a single rupee for any of his lectures or guidance, he did not accept any royalty for his books nor sought any remuneration for any of his programs. His followers increased year after year and today at least million people in this world are his followers.
He conceptualized a knowledge center which can impart Jeevanvidya philosophy to next generations. He inaugurated first Jeevanvidya World knowledge Center in Karjat, Maharashtra, India in April 2012. He passed away just weeks after his brief illness.

Super Positive Affirmations

Healthy Life for All

Happy Life for All

Peaceful Life for All

Successful Life for All

Safe Life for All

These Super Positive Affirmations have been translated into multiple Indian languages and few international languages (English, French, German and Mandarin) These affirmations  are practiced daily by thousands of students of Jeevanvidya individually or collectively in groups. These affirmations  , consciously and subconsciously inculcate that, all beings are more important and larger interests must prevail.
People who practice these affirmations  daily have experienced miraculous results and significant positive changes in their attitudes and behaviors. Moreover, they have started getting  benefits which they have been asking for others. This is based on the universal law of action and reaction. They get connected to people better, they develop a natural intrinsic urge to make others happy. Over a period of time, practicing these affirmations  purifies the subconscious mind and transforms the thought patterns, from “I, me, and myself” to “We, us, and ALL”.
Mr.Wamanrao Pai transformed the mindsets of people, who came in his contact, positively and made them good human beings that cared about others, are always ready to help others and become excellent world citizens in a true sense.
Through his counseling sessions, he helped thousands of frustrated families. He changed the way people look at women in general. He made men aware of the importance of women empowerment.
He simplified extremely difficult and at times the abstract subject of spirituality and made it highly pragmatic and result oriented in day-to-day life. He invented multiple meditation techniques that can be practiced while leading a worldly, busy life along with fulfilling various family and social obligations.
